Zelenskyy announced that he engaged with soldiers at the military base of the initial brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya area, a location approximately a short distance from the focal point.

Intense Conditions in the Region

Updated analysis from a Ukrainian project indicated that invading troops had pushed further into Pokrovsk and its environs, though a large portion remained beyond firm control by both forces. The status is precarious, with updates indicating that invading units were digging in and enhancing fortifications in various sectors.

Russian forces are pushing forward in the Pokrovsk direction and seem to be functioning with growing ease within the city proper.

Military experts observed that Ukrainian forces had recaptured substantial territory of a Russian penetration in the Dobropillya direction, on the east side of the Pokrovsk campaign.
